Confined Cubes - Tenyo

A green plastic cube with a small hole running through it is dropped into a black plastic chimney. The spectators can see the green cube through a rectangular opening as it reaches the far end of the chimney.

The magician inserts a slim white plastic rod through the sides of the chimney and through the cube, locking the green cube in place inside the chimney.

A red plastic cube is then displayed. It also has a small hole running through it. The magician picks up the red cube with one hand while holding the chimney with the other. He swings the hand containing the red cube up until it comes in contact with the bottom of the chimney.

As his hand hits the chimney the red cube appears to disappear from the hand and reappear in the chimney locked in place by the white plastic rod.

The magician tilts the chimney and the green cube slides out of it. He then removes the rod and lets the red cube slide out.
