Lover's Voodoo by Mark Strivings

Lovers Voodoo by Mark strivings is so much fun, you'll love performing it at every venue! It's a perfect piece for those of you who interact with your audiences and like to use 'on the spot' situations as part of the fun. If this describes you, then this is right up your alley:

The performer brings a married couple on stage and introduces a large (9 inches tall) Voodoo Doll. This unique doll (obviously not the real thing) is covered with words printed on it like "depression," "ecstasy," "impotence," "lose virginity," "find keys," "win lottery," "start smoking," etc. It also comes with five pins with different colored heads.

The couple takes turns casting spells on each other by sticking the pins into the words on the doll. Believe us when we tell you that this can be a riot all by itself. The performer can play off of the words they select and there's a ton of room for fun. (Obviously if the wife sticks a pin in "impotence," how can you NOT have fun with that???) Finally all five pins are sticking into the doll.

The performer then points out that there is an envelope that has been sitting on the table the entire time. Inside is the official interpretation of the words that have been chosen. Two folded papers are produced from the sealed envelope. Using the colors of the pins as a guide, the first paper interprets what each pin is for. Interpretations are given for each colored pin. Suppose the green pin is the last one on the list and it is stuck into the words "IRS Audit." The paper might say something like, "The green pin signifies what this person wants most in the bedroom."

An IRS audit in the bedroom???

Obviously this can be a ton of fun and there's much more room for playing off of the responses of your volunteers. Finally the paper says something like, "But there's more to it than just that. I had a feeling about what you wanted most in the bedroom. Open the other slip and read what I saw for you."

The other, smaller slip is opened and it says the words, "IRS Audit!"

When the prediction of the final exact word that was randomly chosen is revealed, this floors the entire audience! This is great fun and a solid mystery as well! Keep in mind that the envelope is on the table from the beginning of the demonstration. The choices of which pin is used when and which words are'stabbed' is a completely free choice. There are no forces of any kind.

This is very easy to, superbly entertaining, and a lot of fun for both the audience and the performer. You get the doll, the proper pins, all of the other secrets and goodies that make this work and the entire routine
