Get both wicks soaked with lighter fluid. Not so wet that they are dripping, but wet enough that only the fluid and not the wick burn. Open the compartment and strike the flint wheel (with both halves near to one another. Close the wallet and the flames will be put out. Reopen it showing the normal part of the wallet.

Never let the flame burn for more than 2-3 seconds at a time and always burn it with the wicks in the vertical position. This is a faux leather wallet made from vinyl and it will melt and burn and could be very dangerous.
