This oversized product is excluded from a the free shipping option. This item is packed in a  wooden crate with a skid base. Crated item measures 43" L x 29.5" W x 22 1/24" H and weights 147 lbs. Empty crate weighs about 64lbs. Sub Trunk panels range in weight from 6lbs to 22lbs each. This item must be shipped via private freight company. Shipping fees will vary drastically depending on your location and if you require a lift gate at the drop off location.Please contact us with your complete address so that we can give you a quote for freight. Please Note: Freight quotes are only valid for 3 business days and prices may change. Estimates for freight in the contiguous USA anywhere from $250.00-$1000. Abroad you will need a customs agent first. Freight can anywhere from $1000 and even be upwards of $4000.00 depending on where you are. Or you may pick up at our location. All panels will easily fit in your car or truck.

Only two of these were ever made. This is the first one. There is an extra screw hole in aluminum strip at the bottom rear of the trunk. There is a seepage of glue on the bottom right corner of the front panel that comes through the velvet fabric that is undetectable unless you are inside the box or the box is disassembled. These were mistakes and accidents in manufacturing process. There are a few minor scratches on the external aluminum strips. These are barley noticeable but you should be able to file and buff them if you think it is necessary.

A steamer trunk is proven solid. Your assistant gets inside. The lid is closed and the trunk is locked with two padlocks. You stand on top of the trunk and pull a curtain up off the ground and cover yourself. When the curtain is dropped, your assistant is seen standing on top. The case is unlocked you are found inside! If you so desire, you and your assistant may also be locked in handcuffs and/or tied up in a large cloth sack.

Everything assembles and disassembles easily in just a few minutes. All six panels of the come apart and lay flat stacked upon one another. ATA Case is not supplied.
