Just before the child is about to go back to the audiance, you take a certificate that reads:

The Society of Magicians certifies that _______________having assisted___________________during his performance date:_________is now a member in good standing of the Society of Magicians Assistants.

You proceed to  fill it out with the childs name, your autograph and the date, then roll up the paper, which now looks like a magic wand!

These make great give aways that the children will keep for a long time.
