Australian born Arthur Buckley became a professional magician in 1908, Touring the far north Queensland, Thursday Island, Cooktown, Cairns and his hometown Brisbane to headline the vaudeville bill at the Theater Royal. After great success, he traveled to America to perform at the Orpheum Circuit in Chicago. It is through these travels that he gained first-hand Knowledge from expert gamblers and magicians.
