Use Create quick and easy special effects makeup like burns, wounds and scars.
Mixing Mix the compound with a 1:1 ratio of hot water. Re-stabilize in the microwave if needed. This compound does tend to dry out after a while. The result will be that it will get get rigid, shrink and come off the areas where there is lots of movement. Such as facial expressions when applied to the cheek. There is a way to make it softer.
Suggestion Add glycerin to your mixture slows the drying out process and prevents the compound from shrinking and hardening. Your mixture may vary depending on your preference. the more glycerin you add, the softer the gelatin will be.
Application Start with clean skin. After mixture it at the desired texture, use a brush to apply over skin and or hair. Allow to dry and cover with theatrical makeup and/or stage blood.
Removal Peel away what you can then use the alcohol wide for small “wounds” and/or soap and water if necessary.
